Someone of the same name, Ibrahim Mohamed(also known as ibbem), is also working on Ebay and extorting money from good ebayers, complaining that goods are not as described and asking for refunds. The goods can be brand new and it doesn't matter to these scammers. If you don't send him money he threatens that he will submit pictures to Ebay and Paypal of the damaged goods who then give him a refund and the good ebayer ends up with damaged goods unfit for sale.

This is an email where he wants a partial refund(not the best English):

"I can return the mobile for a full refund.I have the option of changing my paypal dispute to a SNAD-significantly not as dexcribed dispute and return."

"Or I could keep the mobiel for a partial refund."
(Trying to gain money by deception.)

"I bought this for my Aunt, it doesnt matter to her if it isnt the newest model but she will not accept a used one, so I cannot give it to her now. I would not have spend 60 pounds on a used phone for myslef either. if it was really good maybe 40-50 pounds max on a used one."
(Again trying to negotiate a refund.)

"If you want I will find a camera and take photos of the marks and scratched to show."
(This is the really annoying part, you kow that he will intentionally scratch the goods just to take a picture, making the goods worthless. These are the sorts of things that these scammers and criminals get up to on Ebay.)

One of the addresses linked with the name Ibrahim Mohamed is 244 Forest Road, London, Greater London, E17 6JG.

This is some information regarding people living in this area:
Many members of this Group are relatively unskilled young workers, many of whom are in manual occupations. Many also live in low rise council estates, in areas of high unemployment, low incomes and where people are reliant upon public services.
Many in this area are foreign students living in the UK.

Foreign students have recently been in the news related to terrorism so it does beg the question where does the money these scammers make go to.
