Illegal Immigrants.
A recent case has been in the news where a judge(Ian Trigger) has spoken out against the system and he has been criticised for it.
He judged a case involving a criminal by the name of Lucien McClearley,
McClearley has a history of crime, he came to the UK on a tourist visa
in 2001, his visa ran out and was arrested in 2002. He then claimed asylum
which gave him another 2 years stay until his case could be heard. His
application was rejected in 2004.
Was he deported? No of course not, he was simply told he must go home,
no serious attempt was ever made to track him down and deport him.
So bringing it up to date purely by accident he gets caught in February 2009 in a stolen car with cannabis, cocaine and false identity documents.
So what happens now, is he deported or are we going to have his company for the next few months in one of our prisons, at our cost.
Well it's doubtful that he wil serve his full time in jail and when he is released he would more than likely not be deported if he can convince a judge that he is gay and would face persecution if he was deported to his own country.

If you cross the Cuban border illegally, you will be thrown into political
prison to rot.
However, if you cross the BRITISH border illegally, you get a job, a driver's
licence, a social security card, welfare benefits, food stamps, credit
cards, subsidized rent or a loan to buy a new house, free education, free
health care, a lobbyist in LONDON, a legal right to criticise and berate
not only our Christianity but all of our Western ideals and principals
and, in many instances, you can VOTE.
Yes, I know it is so ......... but would someone please tell me .....
